Gallery 1: The Confrontation

A horse is a horse, is a horse, of course! Many of the horses you might see along the highways in Wyoming are domesticated. In fact, it is often hard to tell the wild ones from the tame ones without knowledge of the numerous wild horse ranges. Wild horses in some areas are quite curious, while the wild mustangs in other areas leave you in a cloud of dust as soon as you open the truck door—similar to the behavior of antelope.

By the time this battle was over, the dark horse had a chunk taken out of his thigh and the pinto had blood all over his face. Yep, these are the wild ones!
